In this podcast, I read Bible passages and share my reflections in easy English. It’s a simple and helpful way to study the Bible while improving your English at the same time. I speak slowly and explain ideas in a learner-friendly way so listeners of all levels can follow.
The Bible readings come from a three-year lectionary plan used by many churches around the world. This plan is shared by both Protestants and Catholics:

In Protestant churches, it is called the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL).

In the Catholic Church, it is known as the Lectionary for Mass.

For the 1st Sunday of Advent. In this week’s bible reading (Matthew 24:26-44) Jesus says that no one knows when he will return. We should be ready not only for Christmas but also for the second coming of Jesus. The question is: How can we be ready?
